Bio
Cynthia R. Copeland is an artist based out of the small midwestern town of Greenville IL. Daughter to a mother born in South Africa & a father from a small town in the Ozark Mountains, she creates work in a variety of mediums, exploring themes from the simple to the sophisticated. With an appetite for constantly learning new mediums, her work utilizes a wide array of materials and techniques. Sometimes with a brush or pen, while other times with multi-colored resin and a repurposed bottle, Cynthia Copeland effortlessly embraces both the woeful & the whimsical. Always honing her skills, Cynthia’s work displays inspiration like a kaleidoscope of life experiences. From the obvious to the obscure.
Cynthia has been an active member of The Greenville Artist Guild since 2018 and has been participating in art exhibitions since 2011. She’s honored to have been the recipient of several awards at juried art shows as well as having been featured in various regional publications.
